Also, it manages the full tendering process for the sector's contract lifecycle, including technical and financial evaluation, contract award, and the preparation of purchase orders up to QR 200,000.
The section also monitors and controls the progress of projects, contracts, and tasks within the support operations sector, managing any related variations and claims to safeguard contractual and operational integrity.
In addition, the section manages QU's comprehensive insurance contract, protecting the university's assets against potential risks, and administers the Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system to ensure accurate operation and reliable data management.
The section further maintains the sector’s electronic documentation and coordinates related activities on the Oracle system, supporting transparency, accountability, and continuity across all support functions.
