Parents Support Services
The purpose of the Parents support services is to facilitate, develop and nurture the lifelong relationships between the University and parents and help them become partners with the university in the education, development and retention of QU students which will support the educational mission of the University. We publish a Parent Handbook each academic year to give essential information to parents relating to campus life, facilities, University contact information, and the program of study. The Parents support services provides communication between the University and parents of QU students in order to support student success, generate goodwill for the University, and promote an appropriate role for parents within the campus community. The Parents Support Services accomplishes this by delivering high quality, relevant and useful programming and communication to help families navigate their evolving relationship and establish a productive university-parent partnership.
Besides organizing orientation for new students' parents and answer parent's inquiries, the unit gives parents access to students' academic records, borrow books from QU library, and sports facilities.
Borrowing books from QU library
Parents now can fill a Parents' communication Form and pay a deposit to QU Library and borrow books as long as their children studying in QU. QU Library will provide a membership to any parent "mothers and fathers" of a currently enrolled student against a QR 200 deposit fee to be reimbursed after the graduation of son/daughter.
Student's Transcript
Parents have access to their children's' academic records and registration cards after filling the communication form and submit the required documents.
Sport Activities
Parents have access to using sports facilities such as Gym, Swimming Pool, and sports fields after paying an annual deposit of QR 200.

Parents or other parties may pay a student’s tuition fees online through the E-payment TouchNet System. They will be assigned authorized access to the system after they have been granted access by the student. To get access to the E-payment System, please contact us at the Parents Program at parents@qu.edu.qa.
Please follow these steps in order to pay online the student’s fees.
After receiving the authorization approval to pay tuition fees on behalf of the student, you will receive an email message from helpdesk@qu.edu.qa including the username and password to access the E-Payment TouchNet student account as an authorized user.
The Parent Handbook provides useful information about Qatar University’s vision, mission, campus life, facilities, and university contact information, as well as contains the academic calendar for the current year. It also provides parents with some suggestions to smooth the transition of their sons and daughters to university life. The handbook presents useful information regarding the services offered to all university students.
